As a tribute to Lion Margaret and Sam Treat, this scholarship was established in their honor. As members of the Ridgecrest Lions Club and longtime residents of Ridgecrest, Lions Margaret and Sam were supportive of the youth within our community. They were firm believers that education is the cornerstone of success. Scholarships are open to graduating/graduated (2025) High School Seniors from any high school, charter school, private school or independent study student in the Ridgecrest, Inyokern and Trona area planning to attend Cerro Coso Community College beginning in the Fall Semester of 2025.
